A grey, cold, and dark place is now filled with whimsical shapes and refreshing bright colors. Pay-per-minute public showers, modeled after the Portland Loo, are connected by ipe ramps and bridges through rocks and greens. Accessible to bike commuters, Forest Park hikers, neighborhood joggers, the homeless community, and anyone who could use a rinse before a long drive home.
The site features a net of ramped paths that guide visitors through a garden of 10 shower modules, each with a toilet and metered wash station. Vehicle parking is retained at the south end of the site, with bike racks at the southwest corner.
